Joel Azevedo Interiors specialises in traditional residential interior design for period homes in London. We combine a respect for architectural detail with a layered approach to colour, pattern, furniture, lighting, fabrics and bespoke elements. Our interiors are designed to feel timeless, comfortable and personal, rather than generic or trend-led.
-
Weresidential interior design services for private homes, renovations and period properties across London. Services include concept design, space planning, colour schemes, furniture and lighting selection, fabric and curtain schemes, bespoke joinery input, FF&E specification, procurement and styling.
We can support clients from the early design stage through to the final layers of furniture, artwork and accessories, depending on the needs of the project.
-
Yes. While Joel Azevedo Interiors is based in London, we can work on selected projects outside London and overseas, depending on the scope and level of involvement required.
-
Our fees depend on the size, complexity and level of involvement required for the project. Some projects are priced as a fixed design fee, while others may involve hourly work, procurement fees or a combination of both.
For larger projects, we usually break the work into clear stages, such as concept design, developed design and implementation, so clients understand what is included at each point.
Before starting, we outline the proposed fee structure, scope of work and payment stages so everything is clear.
-
Yes. We can manage procurement for furniture, lighting, fabrics, curtains, rugs, artwork and accessories. This includes sourcing, pricing, placing orders, coordinating suppliers and managing delivery information where required.
Procurement is especially useful for larger projects, as it helps keep the design organised and ensures all selected items are properly documented.
-
We offer design project coordination as part of our interior design service, helping to keep the design process organised and ensuring that the interiors are implemented as intended.
This can include liaising with contractors, architects, joiners, curtain makers, suppliers and specialist trades; reviewing design details; coordinating furniture, lighting, fabrics and finishes; and attending site meetings where required.
For larger renovation or construction projects, we work alongside the appointed contractor, architect or project manager rather than replacing them. Our role is to protect the design vision, resolve interior design details and help make sure the finished home feels cohesive, considered and beautifully executed.

The first step is to get in touch with some information about your project, including the location, type of property, timescale, scope of work and any plans or photographs you may already have.
We will then arrange an initial conversation to understand the property, your requirements and how we may be able to help.
